Smart date input and delivery time

Natural-language date/duration parsing, calendar shortcuts, and hour-level delivery time.

What changed

Choosing a delivery date got easier. The new input accepts natural language — “in 3 months”, “next year”, “July 13, 2026” — alongside the calendar and shortcuts.

You can also pick a delivery hour (delivered at the start of that hour), not just a calendar day. Exact-minute precision was intentionally out of scope; hour-level matches how people think about “morning of” arrivals.

Why

Scheduling UX is the heart of a time-capsule product. Reducing friction here meant fewer abandoned drafts and clearer intent. Later polls about date vs duration (August 2026) built on this foundation.
