Since launching, the most requested feature by far has been the ability to share these future messages with others. You asked, and I listened.

Share the Future: A Time Capsule for Your Circle
You can now add up to nine other people to any email you schedule. This simple change opens up a universe of possibilities, transforming a personal reflection into a shared experience. Imagine what you could create:
- For Couples: On your anniversary, write a joint letter about your relationship and your hopes for the future. Schedule it to arrive on your anniversary five years from now.
- For Best Friends: Make bold predictions about each other's lives. Where will you be in 10 years? What crazy adventures will you have had? Schedule the big reveal for a decade later and see who was right.
- For Parents: Write a letter to your young child, capturing their personality, your dreams for them, and a snapshot of your life today. Schedule it for their 18th or 21st birthday for an incredibly emotional gift.
- For Graduates: As a project team or a group of college friends, write a "remember when..." email about a tough class or a great memory. Schedule it to arrive a few years after graduation as a nostalgic reminder of your shared journey.
How It Works: A Simple and Meaningful Surprise
I designed this feature to be as simple and impactful as possible. The magic is in the surprise.
- Write Your Email: Log in to your EmailToFuture.com dashboard and compose your message. Pour in your memories, your predictions, or your heartfelt words.
- Add Recipients: You'll now see an option to "Add Recipient." Simply add the email addresses of the friends, family, or partners you want to share this future moment with (up to 9).
- Schedule and Send: Choose your date—up to 10 years into the future.
That's all it takes. And here's the most important part: Your recipients will not be notified that an email has been scheduled for them.
Years from now, on the exact date you chose, your email will arrive silently in their inbox—and yours. It will be a complete surprise from the past that you all get to experience together. To make sure they know who it's from, your email address (as the sender) will be clearly noted in the email's footer.
