When scheduling a capsule, do you think in calendar dates (“next New Year”, “my birthday”) or durations (“in 6 months from this feeling”)?

Both camps showed up strongly. Duration fans wanted a faster default for in-the-moment letters. Date fans scheduled against milestones and anniversaries. Several people suggested duration as default with date as a toggle — a preview of the personalization decision that followed.

I'd prefer duration from today should be the default. This way if someone wants to send it into the future what they're feeling in the exact moment, it's be quicker and on spot!

u/angorafoxView on RedditOh this really is controversial! I'd say date, I mostly use this to send messages to myself for the next New Year, or to send messages to myself for birthdays and days/anniversaries of major life milestones.
